Could This Be a Poem?

Is it a bunch of words written on a piece of paper? Is it lyrics spoken over a hype beat? Is it a feeling of self expression, or does a poem speak for others? I heard some that rhymed and some that reasoned. Some make you laugh while others make you cry. There are short ones and long ones. But what is a poem?
