Costume For Two

Here’s for partners , both who are thin, A costume they both can fit in. I’ll explain now for you The first thing you can do: Find some trousers gargantuan! And since one pair of pants must fit two, You’ll each need to place both your legs through Just one side of those pants As you do a strange dance ‘Cause you’ll be stuck together like glue. While walking, your steps must be small And synchronized; else you will fall. Get a baggy shirt too For your partner and you. No, you won’t be a prince at a ball! For you’ll be there on Halloween Eve, Each of you using only one sleeve. With the other arm free, Out of view it will be. So what look will you try to achieve? With two heads and one body you’ll be The event’s curiosity! But it’s all about show. From that costume I know You’ll be dying to get yourself free. For SKat's "Costume for Two" Contest

Good morning, Andrea. No Andy, your one of the 12 that only entered Limericks out of the 35 entries. I enjoyed reading the mini bunch you had for me. Have a happy day of getting rid of the turkey side effects. j.k. ~luv* SKAT

Oh this is a hoot! LOL Glad you like Her Fix! If I failed to acknowledge your previous comment, Andrea, sorry! This woman was a fleeting glimpse as the bus passed by this doorway, woman standing in it, huffing and puffing in a mighty hurry...likely on her break:) she needed that fix in a big way:) You certainly are reading up a storm of my poems here, hard to keep up with you! LOL

This is very funny, Andrea! Guess the pair could use their extra hands to pull a few tricks -- puppet monsters emerging from the stomach like in the movie Alien -- what fun! Great write. Love, Carolyn

A very long, long limerick. This is like a hermaphrodite I saw at a circus named "Jo Anne." You know, two weirdos in one container. You be so durn clever, dear. Love, Dave
