A great twist or reverse flip on an age old predicament. It's usually if a friend succeeds do they still remains or keep their old friend or forget them. I suppose if the status quo or power dynamic shifts the ego of the friend who was once top dog can be bruised. But he who does not wish success or begrudge it to another most especially a friend is surely not really a friend are they David ?

A true or real friend David is surely someone who if you had nothing at all would still be or remain a friend and you can't figure out why

That’s just my point Christopher I think the capitalist attitude has damaged so many friendships people wanting to outdo their peers rather than just accepting them for what they are, what is a true friend I honestly cannot tell anymore, my family are my friends cheers David
