Corduroy Pants and Caps

How swiftly my thoughts fly now
  to corduroy pants and caps

Facing a howling northeaster
whistles, the rally of hunting dogs
     ~ the pointer locked, stock-still

Oh, but your write made me have to seriously think. Imagery with a sense of misty deep senses has made my evening swiftly rally. I have been gone from Soup for many months and am happy to be reading your short, poignant and grabbing poems again! Be well ... CayCay

Such a nice start to my evening to see your avatar pop up, CayCay. It's sure been a while... And then to receive the extra treat of a comment combining the best of erudition and emotion. Well, maybe too much for this elderly gent to handle at once. I'll have to give my rocker a real work-out tonight! lol. Thanks a million, CayCay. Joy forever. ~ Gershon

TALLY HO MATE....remember when you could tell the season by the sounds of roller skates and footballs?
