Copy and paste can be detrimental if used in the wrong place
Such as posting and plagiarizing poems from another’s space
The time and energy it may take to search for poems to steal
It is a waste of time if you’re not going to be authentic and real

It’s also a crime to take credit for stolen art, poems or any other copied matter
And only a matter of time before a lawsuit may be served from a silver platter
It must be a type of severe mental illness or some type of character flaw
To want to claim poems as yours, that are not, is against the law

It would behoove you to think before you continue to copy and paste and post
We are on to your shenanigans and the deceitful liars are despised the most
Please remove your pathetic copied and pasted posts and leave our page
Because your reputation, integrity and legal recourse may be a lot to wage

Tania, you state an ethical position in an instructive manner. It does seem odd that anyone would resort to plagiarism here since it doesn't change the fact that one is either capable of writing poetry or not. People doing that must really have some mental problem. I could understand it more if it was done to meet an assignment that a person finds too difficult or unpleasant to process. Here, where we are volunteering our material and time, what reason is there? Someone has low self-esteem! Smiles for all the real poets!!!

I will never understand why anyone would copy (word for word) someone's thoughts and say it's their own. I agree, it's dishonest. It's wrong. We all have emotions and can write them down. Simple as that. Congratulations Tania, on Poem of the Day. My best to you. Hugs, Brandy

Congratulations Tania on a very topical and well deserved POTD, AI is becoming endemic everywhere, Admin I believe could be doing more to help root it out or at least keep trimming it back, as for the blatant plagiarism, I’m pretty convinced that mental health issues are at play, perhaps an offshoot of kleptomania; Again Admin need to up their game, cheers David

I reported a poem which tested AI on 3 sites, admin didnt take action and it has won a recent second chance contest - it didnt place first time round as the sponsor is aware this person uses AI ! when you read other poems by this person they also test 100% positive but i have given up reporting them as no action gets taken but at least sponsors are becoming more aware who is doing it:-( hugs jan xx

Your words point a finger at those who copy and paste, along with a multitude of proof and yet the plagiarized poems remain. Your exposure of wrongdoings is a potd that should not be ignored by poets and the administration whose finger should again remove the posts and the thief from the site.

U.S., I am not sure what the answer is but the use of AI and plagiarism is definitely hurting PS.
