Remember watching the clouds breathe, In endless sees of make-believe, Erasing the summer blue, azure in fleeting Moments, silencing the music of birdsong, Softly chortling in rhythms, Hearts warmed by the presence of miracles, Promising the wind will blow away, Every fear, ghostly fears – dewlike tears, In the distance, reflecting gently. Remember September’s fleeting song, Dancing dreams, like an echo, gone, Falling limp against the quiet expressions, Souls inviting the rustling tones, Whispers of light, playing in shadows, Singing of the harvest, the pines, Unburdened of their cones, Delicate tunes of wishes, Silencing the trickles of a past, When peace could not last, Serenity’s fast – breathing in the colors, Night fall and autumn’s call, Enchanting as the forest’s dark, Wonderful like the promises of God. Remember suns rising, Tangerine in the vastness of a sky, Where melancholic urges, Sigh like the presence of glistening stars, Gossiping with the moon, Who glows softly, detached and dreading, The moments before she becomes the secret, Hiding beneath the clouds, the senses Bursting with music, Beautiful truths and prayers, Lifted from the spirit, Melodies of blessings, wisdoms Stirring the feelings, Breaking the windless twilights, With life giving urgency, Quiet colors dim the edges of nocturnal, Forever serene, Never doubting the glimpses Yesterday’s music, playing on the skies. Remember laughing children, Who bleed their goodness into our dreams, Retelling the stories of our lives, In giggling smiles, Warm hugs and soft kisses, Light glowing in the twinkling eyes, Like fireflies in the night, Always showing the joy, the elation, Falling all over the face, Blushing in the silences, Abiding through the distant delays, Fires in vibrant hues of truth, When innocence meets faith, And everywhere – there is trembling grace, Grace that never complains. It is the wife of amazing and holds the keys, To songs birthed in invented worlds, Fictitious earths – fantasies of yearnings. Remember, when your eyes meet mine, To smile – not with your lips, But with your eyes, where I can see the meaning, Beneath a believing that wipes away every dread, A believing that conquers the doubts, Spreads light all over the life, Rejoices in the moments, inspired moments, When yesterday meets with God’s gasp, Gulps in the wonder and fulfills every hope, With the assurance that love is the notes He plays, The harmony He engraves on the spirit, The music of peace that fulfills us. Please, just remember – His love can heal you.

I loved the nostalgic tone then the gentle, ever so subtle emphasis on the role God played in the nostalgic remembrance ....I loved 'when yesterday meets with God's gasp, gulps in the wonder and fulfills every hope.' Then comes the powerful last line....brilliantly done, Gina. Have a great evening, Sara

This is like an exquisite symphony of words to my heart's ears. I do enjoy longer poems that draw in mind and heart -reminds me of the delicate nuances and vibrant descriptions in the classics that charmed me as a child. The photo says it all. Enchanting poem.

Your last line is stupendous. Remember, when your eyes meet mine, To smile – not with your lips: Great line, eyes can reflect love more than lips. It's a wonderful poem.
