My friends took me down to Broadway To watch a newfangled ballet T'was called the Buttcracker And not the Nutcracker The title was apt I can say Some dancers were dressed in tutus Bulges in their tights gave us clues All the dancers were male My friends face turned quite pale Next time we should read the reviews! 02/08/21

I gather this is fantasy tale, a man in a tutu is just naturally inviting comments. I would have also be embarrassed, but I am sure you all had a very jolly evening and lots of laughs. Awesome poem Jan. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

G’day Jan … I dunno. Sometimes I think a male ballet dancer will bust through his tights. Another fine set of limericks Jan - Lindsay

I would have enjoyed your Limerick a lot more if I hadn’t been so worried... my wife promised me that my ‘Lemon Twirl’ video would never go public. Loved the lims (as opposed to the limbs) nonetheless. Terry

It must have come as quite a shock, To see male dancers wearing frocks. With their shapeless flat chests, A bulge at top of legs, Surely you'd have laughed your socks off... Belle :-) x

I think it would be a fun show to see. I remember when we lived near San Francisco in the 80's and one time we went into the city to see men dressed like women singing and dancing . one sat on Joe's lap and sang to him. Hilarious. Good one, Jan.
