Compassion

Caring for others means having awareness Of others’ misfortune or pain. Manifestation of it means more than Pity - merely having pity again and again. Assauging suffering – this is compassion’s proof. Since we cannot shed for every soul a tear, Simple acts can show sad people that we care. Is there someone you can give a hug or lend a listening ear? Ordinary kindness is the least we can bestow. Nurture with extra love your neighbors who have woe! Hi, Andrea! We need more. Compassion starts in the heart and shows up in our mouths or words. Negative talk leave to others. it shows NO compassion. Am reminding myself to watch what I say.))) Panagiota Panagiota xoxo

Yes, I feel you have much compassion for others! This is the way I feel too. One person at a time. Look them in the eye, treat them the way you want to be treated. Even when I go to the Senior Center on the memory care side... God bless you <3 Kim
