Common Creative Urge
When life’s cacophony drives me mad
And I sink to dismal depth of turmoil,
Your melting shadow makes me sad,
I need to discover me I haven’t seen.
The Monet landscapes on the wall I treasure
Envelops me with invisible mist of tranquility,
I’m absorbed by the essence of pristine nature,
My lonesome time turns into silent beauty.
That’s when my mind feels the creative urge
Flood gates open, words flow in poetic surge.
