Comments

Comments Your friend is a new painter and Invites you in, to show his soul's work. Do you visit him quickly, like a ghost, Not acknowledging the art of your host? He invited you in....did he not? He might like to know your painter's thoughts. I see that simile belongs to us in poetry. This heaven created by the Soup,an equal symmetry. Connects us all in an artistic loop. Soup encourages comments and I Understand why. Without them, some poets, may give up. You'll never hear their nightly sigh.

Jennifer, there are hundreds of wonderful poems here with zero comments. That doesn't mean the poem is unworthy. Just that some poets do not have time or just do not understand that comments are the rain that helps a poet to blossom. We can be that rain or let the poet die on the vine. I know some don't want to. I know you are a giver. Thank you! Panagiota

Gershon! Absolutely agree. You are on point.I have Poems with no comment. Funny thing. Is those are some are my favorites. Anyway, I think I am on a boycott list because I entered Slausin's contest.
