Comment On : " Chemistry " : By Sue Mason

The hearts of poets must find solace
And at some point and somewhere
Seek to drown the clamouring

But like all great poetry
It will write of such and be a drunken debauchery

But the next day
Awake..
Having vented its spleen
And through thumping head
Gain its precious perch upon clarity.

Open hearts and open souls bleed this way
With too much pain
And with too much love
Can find a time to drown
And awake refreshed with clearer eyes
Having seen the bottom of the well
