Coming In

Whenever I go you are
There as I have not seen
Coming too close and open
And not knowing where
To look and to behold

To be beholden to you
Is the hardest thing
To do and remain free
Coming out from the rain
And staying calm in this
My innocence and you

Staying dry and clean
All day and all night long
Holding fast my integrity
In this my innocence
And you are still present

Coming in from the cold
And seeking the warmth
Of your embrace and hiding
From the cunning and sly
Till time has been enclasped
Into the arms of eternity
