Comes to mind

Goodness of love first comes to mind, As often, disgust comes to mind. Love’s loveliness first comes to mind, How love gets to rust comes to mind. What looks like a soft and sweet breeze, How it turns to gust comes to mind. That which looks like love so profound, How oft turns out lust comes to mind. And what may seem mundane the most, How, to trust robust comes to mind. And so do some, ordinary, Truly so august comes to mind. O come to no quick conclusion, How minds get to worst comes to mind. __________________________ Ghazal | 15.08.2025 | love, men, minds
