Comes Another Dusk
Comes another dusk, sundown, day is done
Was another day well-lived? Worth the life?
I ask these questions, answers—I have none.
I know, for sure, my day was without strife
Before sleep I think of the afterlife
A peaceful calm comes over me, I drift
Knowing the day has given me a gift--
Unmerited, I think, from up above
From realms beyond, unknown, a blessed life,
Reminding me of the Almighty’s love.
