Come What May...
When tears don’t say – because you pray
It will be okay, when you see the light of day
Time will reveal, the story of His will
Whatever comes, whatever sorrow – so still
I know the music of His grace in each glimpse of His face
Glimpses of hope, portrayed on the sunrise, in the stars
Glimpses of faith, described by the gentle of His rose
Glimpses of love, weeping through the dew in her silence
When tears can never erase – the story that you’ve faced
It will come in bursts of light, His healing – you see the bright
Healing the dark of night, leave the shadows to their fight
Whatever I hear, there is music in my ear – a song of peace
Whispering relief because I know this love that is so sincere
Glimpses of hope, uncovered and known by the heart He has won
Glimpses of grace, reassuring me, whatever I face, there is hope
Glimpses of love, remembering – whatever comes, He is here with me
In the bright morning SON, in the glory of the One
Who told me love is more than just a word or note
Love is the thing that believes, beyond the illness
Beyond the fear, beyond the music of the lone prayer
It is love that brings hope to those of us…
Who hear Him in the wind, see – He’ll soon begin
To reveal the light within, the light that is truly Him
The light that is restoring each glimpse
I can see Him. I can hear Him. I can feel Him pouring out…
The love that has no doubt, the love that causes my soul to shout!
When tears don’t reflect – the way my heart beats in my chest
The mirror of fear and regret… could I have ever more blessed,
More adept, more of what love needed from my spirit
I only hope that love will comprehend, the way I feel within
The story of a love without end, a love that has always been…
A part of my spirit, blessing every tear, fighting each fear
Remembering God is near and I will always be sincere
When I say this love has been, for me
The story that awakened in me… a beautiful, a joy, a hope
For the timelessness of love that always knows – just knows…
Whatever comes, whatever tears – whatever I say, whatever I pray
There is a story living, alive and surviving
The story of love that never will die, love that will always try
Love that is meant for us, from the beginning of our firsts
Love that will carry us – through this life and into the final say…
And, oh, dear Jesus… I pray and I pray, please find a way
For this love to stay, just stay… always with me,
Until You decide to carry me away – that new and brighter day
When I’ll know that love is a forever thing, a forever that sings
The story of hope, the story of grace, the story of a reason that will forever say…
Thank You, Lord – for this man who has been my friend
The sweetness that lives within, the light that never dims.
Thank You, Lord – for given me to him, for giving him to me
For showing us that love will live on forever and always
Love will always stay, come what may and I will always pray
That You make a way through the pain… fill his heart with praise
Because He knows, come what may – we’ve shared something deeper than our hearts can explain… we’ve shared a love that will never end –
Forever and always, my most blessed friend,
Come what may…
Come what may…
