Come Home, Daddy

Phone calls aren’t enough. Living without you is tough. Praying that you’ll be home safe. Lying in bed to awake, Seeing you on the other side, Of the bed is what I want. My needing you at home, To help out is a fact. I thought when you left; I didn’t want you back. You’re gone, And I just want daddy, To come home.

I must agree with Kimberly's observations, Nicole. This heartfelt write could have been composed by the child or spouse of one of our soldiers. Waiting for their return must be very difficult, especially this time of year. Very nice work! Merry Christmas, Nicole. Love, Carolyn
