Come Home, Daddy
Phone calls aren’t enough.
Living without you is tough.
Praying that you’ll be home safe.
Lying in bed to awake,
Seeing you on the other side,
Of the bed is what I want.
My needing you at home,
To help out is a fact.
I thought when you left;
I didn’t want you back.
You’re gone,
And I just want daddy,
To come home.
