Colours of Love
With each step the beat of my heart rippled,
like gentle vapours playing with tender waves.
Her hands felt softer than Cherry blossom buds,
entwined with mine, I felt no desire to let go.
With each step, bird songs serenaded sweeter,
my eyes yearning for this path to never end.
Her timid smile released dormant sensations,
electric sparks enticed my body, soul and mind.
With each step, emotions connected deeper,
all flaws now obsolete, no inhibitions remained.
All was now transparent in our chosen province,
endless enchanted hues painted a perfect portrait.
My healed heart became a tenant for her love,
for the first time, I knew it would remain safe.
