Colourfication
Your lilac book I will read
In your sapphire eyes
Your flowers are vermillion indeed
In happy tangerine they rise
From a bright silver seed
I have brought you tulip saffron
For your seashell cup
And my eyes to look upon
The silky time to love
No rest till the fuchsia love is done
Come, let’s talk unconditionally
And play with our pearls
Away from the deep jet of sound and fury
In your eloquent olive curls
For a starlight story

United Colours: Colourification – Poetry Contest
The ten shades are:
5 in the first stanza – Lilac, Sapphire, Vermillion, Tangerine, Silver
3 in the second – Saffron, Seashell, Fuchsia
2 in the third - Jet and olive
