Colors In the Sky

"Two doves in white flying, feathers glow beneath the morning's rainbow colors"

The two fly smoothly side by side
through the shimmering shades of morn.
Their spotless souls softly collide
and a new dauntless day is born.

They pass beyond billowing blues,
subtle shades of watermelon,
rambling rose, and palest peach hues,
all as beautiful as those of Heaven.

Feathers refracting, reflecting
rainbow corals and crepe hues.
Comely clouds calmly projecting
tinges as tangerine imbues.

Flashing, fluttering, subtle tints
flow freely from the lovely dove,
nuances of tones give us hints
reminding us of our God’s love.
