Could you imagine a world where we all were the same? Our differences make us unique, they also divide us Let's strive to close the “divide”, we’re more alike than different One must always long for peace and unification Rise above the hate and ignorance and embrace love Stand for change no matter how challenging it may be 8-19-17 Alexis Y.

Who can gainsay such wisdom? A mighty fine exposition poem, Alexis. Your words shine in a dark, hateful world. Outstanding poem of your thoughts/feelings. You are such a caring person ... it is reflected in your poetry. Love and joy always.

GREAT message poem, Alexis. It reminded me of one of the best movies I saw last year. The true story of a couple whose name was LOVE (or Loving, I forgot which). They were forbidden to be married in the southern state where they had wed. Times have changed and yet old prejudices remain !
