Colored In Blues
COLORED IN BLUES
I woke up this morning,
My pillow soaked with tears,
Emptiness all around the room
And autumn outside, all turned to brown.
I play my six strings and hit those notes,
Realize what happened the night before,
A shouting silence and melancholy sustained,
How I wish to have you restrain.
It’s not hard for you to take the truth,
If the world was as flat as you thought,
And life would just be happy moments with you,
Taking all the sorrows with the morning dew.
Endless journey and false destination,
Pathetic reasons that contradict my hurt emotions,
Once again we are left confused,
And the music you played,
All colored in blues, all colored in blues…
