Color Me, Autumn
Color me, Autumn, the color of trees -
of rich amber honey, brown berry and red,
bright yellow, orange, and late summer’s green,
which lingers a while with fall’s cooling breeze.
And paint me the hue found in my garden bed -
of September‘s asters and heaven's sheen.
