Cobwebs in the early morning are a wondrous sight
Displaying their beauty in the scintillating sunlight
Such a delicate trap put on display
To allure a spider’s innocent prey
Drops of dazzling diamante dew
Sparkle on your web so fresh and new
Your weaving talents you had to showcase
With silvery strands spun into gossamer lace
A tiny fly gets caught and you swiftly attack
Wrap her in silk blanket for your mid morning snack
