Finally, my blood began to coagulate between the bodies that's our fate this place of death dressed in red with the debris that covers the dead they lay so still, with the stench they wait We were young not so long ago and tried to chase each rainbow with dreams, we held to our breast we pounded our fists on our chests We now lay broken, in this muddy field and here we'll die on our shield so plant your flowers, our days have gone across our graves, will rise another dawn this sacred ground, you will walk upon

Congrats on finishing 5th our of 31 entries! Love thed line "dressed in red" you had by far the best description of a war-torn battle in it's conclusion. Well-written poetic war journalism!
