Finally, my blood began to coagulate
between the bodies that's our fate
this place of death dressed in red
with the debris that covers the dead
they lay so still, with the stench they wait
We were young not so long ago
and tried to chase each rainbow
with dreams, we held to our breast
we pounded our fists on our chests
We now lay broken, in this muddy field
and here we'll die on our shield
so plant your flowers, our days have gone
across our graves, will rise another dawn
this sacred ground, you will walk upon
