Cloudy Windows
Cloudy windows tethered
kept closed and exposed
to the elements of the weather,
paneled glass memories
seeing rain storms rage
and wind racing thru the trees;
Sturdy framed skin
set boldly against the exterior
to hold back the out from the in;
sound proof grout
stilling the solace of nature
as it resounds, no doubts.
Sheltered light corrections
glistens in the reflective glass
steaming rays in all directions,
safe haven's route
protected and sheltered
from the world without;
cloudy windows washed clean
erase the garden painting
blocked out by the screens.
