Haunting of the Heart

Bloody as can be The blade that pierced me So close to the heart A wound that will make me fall apart Her fragrance of I'm aware The fake cries of her despair Come they do emotions numb For which I will not Succumb Tears held in mine eyes I hold back so she can't see me cry Dismal is thoughts of love again Maybe next time I shall win Rose colored glass as solace worn Hold me over until I no longer morn 3/29/2019

Straight to my heart where I hold the pain of my own unrequited love. Though it was long ago and I've made friends with it, the heart does hold it and your emotional lines woke it so poetically awake. A heartbreak delivered in wonderful ink! Oh, so good.
