Cloaking Confusion
Was that a drop of rain glistening on the tree? What was that? A moon ring shining on the sea Was that a silver lining that I can almost hear? What was that? Light on clouds as it disappears Was that a horse and rider in the midnight gray? What was that? Just rolling clouds like waves What is this pitter patter? Does it matter? It was dripping now an emotive splatter Gathering moonlight from the puddle Branching right from the muddle
