wave after wave pounding ruthlessly against Her weary jaded mind defiantly eroding tattered threads of frail sanity… and yet... She clings to hope

Apart from sickness, there are also many other things which can drag a person down, Alexis. And when the going gets hard it's faith & hope which can become our lifeline. ~ Best regards // paul

"She clings to hope." Paul, these four words cling to me. Since you are able to feel my heart through "my words," you can clearly understand why I say this. At the end of the day, after moments and emotions in life have tangled and twisted around my being and in my mind- I see a rainbow. (I have hope). This is tender and beautiful, all at the same time, my dear sweet friend. Many wonderful blessings to you. Hugs, Brandy

Not many people have the patience to read and comment in depth, but you Brandy have that ability, and I can assure you that it is truly appreciated. Your feedback reminds me of your latest poem "Exclusive" and how through words we get to know each other well, even though we have never met in person. Warm regards & hugs // paul

Dear Paul, now here is an example of an excellent Waltz Wave to be sure. Such dynamic imagery fills the small physical space of this poetry form till it spills the brim to sweep one's imagination out into an ocean of dramatic emotion. Love it! A metaphorical gem, my friend! Warmest wishes and hugs always.. ~Susan

Thank you dear Susan. Because of its short lines, this poetry form appears simple and easy at first glance, but it certainly isn't! The writer has to make every word count, while staying faithful to the flow and musicality. // Your comments are most welcome, my friend. ~ warm regards and hugs // paul

Hi Paul, such a potent, clear message for us all to think about and to interpret and understand why? Yet the will to not give in I feel is even stronger, hope can be evil at times - Pandora's box. Hugs, warm regard, Jennifer

Your comments make sense, Jenny. In spite of suffering, one does well not to lose hope, and yet, in certain cases hope alone is not enough...imagine a physically & emotionally abused woman/man; more drastic measures would be needed. ~ Warm regards & Huga // paul

An intense Waltz Wave Paul. Exudes sorrow somewhat, til the last line where you enlighten us, that she retains hope. Well constructed and you succeeded in telling a whole story in such few words. This, I admire greatly. Best wishes.
