Clear Sight
A fog bank lowered and it hid
The top of the mountain, like a lid
Concealing a sight that is usually seen
Instead, the gray fog bank looked mean
Rolling from a distance, coming on in
Almost a reminder of whirling sin
We hope and we pray for goodness today
For love to lead us on our way
To know that the skies will clear later
Don’t let yourself fall into the crater
In this battle to fight for what is right
There will always be the return of clear sight
