Notes About The Poem
Wizard of Oz Limerick Contest Sponsored by Charles Messina

Clean Up in Aisle Two

Through my little fingers I'd peek
When I was a kid I would freak
Watching wicked witch melt
Frightful fear I then felt
That I wouldn't bathe for a week!

Oh Crystol, this is an adorable limerick. So cute...and the last line made me literally crack up. Congratulations on your winning placement in my contest! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Hugs Charlie :)

Enjoyed your take on OZ. Some movies I’ve seen have kept me looking over my shoulder. —MDJ

Smashing write Crystol, and clever; I hadn’t contemplated being ‘outside’ the movie. Best of luck in the contest. Terry

Brilliant limerick. Sorry, I never read any poem of yours, though mine tend to be rather long.
