City versus Country

Traffic buzzing, racing and jamming brakes
People bustling on sidewalks and streets
Noise with everything, rushing, except for lines waiting
Voices, horns, a blur of activity all around

Then, there is the ride to return home
Empty road, widespread fields, open land
Mountain views with rivers and bright flowers
Peace settles in as my mind clears and heart slows

             - It feels like heaven all around -

how delightful....we live in a semi-rural area....county roads and open fields are behind our home....it's peaceful.

Best move I made over 30 years ago was to the country, don't miss the city one bit. Hope you're keeping well Heidi. Tom🌹

Hi Tom. That is great you are in the country. I have serious health issues from the toxins I was exposed to. Thank you. :)
