City of Hearts
When you are here, there is no rain.
Nor any bodily or mental pain.
What is it about you, man of all men?
That never says no, but how or when?
You carry my tender heart in your hands.
As we fly off to exotic lands!
Walking down streets of cobblestone.
And when I am with you, they feel like
soft spun gold!
We eat fruits divinely sweet.
Why is it our lips constantly meet?
So, come to bed now, we can rest.
We slumber like children, in complete
serenity on God's loving chest.
Loving you, night and day,
