Circus In the Sky

A solo swim small waves twist awry Only I and the cotton sky They peek out to see From under white sheets Just me and this little sea They come out to perform a magnificent storm of shapes and species galore Whiskers and tails Feathers and scales Wildly running aloft The jungles and seas All come to be As one in the sunny serene Adieu, adieu Away they fly As I smile goodbye.

When I was a little girl I used to love to lie on the grass, look up at the clouds and make pictures ... you've recaptured that for me, Alyssa. Thank you so much, and congratulations on having your writing featured this week!

In regards to my blog, I was basically defending the women of our nation. I have no doubt about Palin's credibility, but we all know that her being a female plays a significant role in this upcoming election. In regards to Obama, let's be nice. There's enough negativity and "mud-slinging" from both parties. That's why I'm voting Independent. People have often asked me if I'm Muslim because of my last name. (Toran) No, I'm Methodist. The name Toran is Anglo-Saxon. Have a nice day. Milt

Lovely, naturistic imagery to this. I remember lying in the grass--or on the beach as I once lived by the ocean, and staring at the clouds. Beautiful. Regards, Sara
