Chronicle Of Ends

The culminating azure ecstasy of the glistening autumn sky fades away at last with the blizzard of the arctic blast. As on the wings of winter the golden leaves fly at the end of their verdant time on the lost canopy, their rustling tune completes the music of my delight. On the canvas of hazy horizon rainbow dreams gleam as the transient arc of art, and in the clasp of cloud they melt like the last rain of hues at the fringe of the broken heart. Sliced by the cloudburst sky crumbling down culminated, fragile bliss turns to debris at the end of the crashing storm. The sparkling crystals of luminous mind’s frail chandelier, flickering the last sheen before the glitter outshines, shatter at the sudden strike of the terminal strife. The ephemeral candles of hope extinguish in the abyss, the final flash of buoyant life drifts away in the wind. I see the spent sun sink beneath the stratum of oblivion, within the closing envelop at the fringe of the twilight zone. From the corridor of obscurity winding in the final lap in front, I trace the faded trail, take the finishing steps to walk the last mile, on the wrap-up pathway I feel my journey has begun to end.
