Christmissing You

Ho ho ho’s and Jingle bells Resonate on air Frosty breath on chilly nights Whispers Santa’s prayer Against a sky of sapphire Crystal snowflakes play Children fuss in their concern St. Nick will lose his way Seasonal delights abound Sweet tooth overtakes Cookies line up one by one Bridging pies and cakes And yet despite the magic Glow of Christmas hue It just doesn’t feel the same Because I’m missing you
