We Are To go Out shopping And lunch today But rain is falling The cool wet air surrounds Penetrates old achy bones I was wanting to see the girls Find something just for their enjoyment Well, we will go anyway~~ day of fun

If we don't like shopping and especially for our children, we as women would lack all the fun side of living, the giving and the pleasure received. I can understand that for some families it is difficult, but a cheap scarf, a chocolate cake, a bunch of flowers, perhaps even less, but it is the wealthy that sometimes say they they don't buy presents, really stingy perhaps that is why they are wealthy - I would go out on a rainy cold day also for presents, especially for our children. Jennifer, Yes, a little gift can be just what the person wants and enjoys. We have been going out with them and letting them get something for themselves since they are mothers and sometimes they buy for others and don't buy for themselves. "we will go anyway" - yesterday it was freezing here, and windy and rainy and I met two good friends for supper and we stayed three hours, so I felt this one.

Caren, We have been having some rain here in the south but yesterday was sunny. I enjoyed the sun coming through the window on me. Glad that you got out with friends and enjoyed their company. Sara

Oh I do love the wise saying. "When the world gives you rain --- Bloom." Excellent. The shopping trip in the rain is another wonderful piece to let you know that there is fun in everything if you just want it to be there. Good stuff. God Bless, JB

Judy, I wish that I had come up with that saying myself but alas it is from the internet and someone else needs the credit. I think it is better to bloom and not gloom but sometimes those rainy days just get us down. I appreciate the visit. Sara

BJ, I enjoyed seeing Karter look in the toy department. I got a couple of ideas of what I could get him for Christmas. I came home and ordered one toy that was what he wanted and another item that was like what he wanted. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Andrea, It turned out to be a nice day but they did not find anything. We went to two stores and I think Phyllis did buy one item. Doris wants a metal detector so she can use it when she goes to the beach or around old houses. LOL..We will see how that works out. Thanks for your visit. Sara

Sometimes you just have to out, rain or no rain. Today I had to have a booster covid jab. It has been raining three days, and I had to go. Almost got soaked.

Victor, We got our boosters over two weeks ago. I feel a little safer when I go out but I am still not going out very much unless it is absolutely necessary. We fared well today I only got a little rain on me once before I got the umbrella opened. Thanks for your visit. Sara
