Many people around the world are doing it very tough this Christmas - whether they celebrate it or not. One must never give up the good fight, no matter how hard or slim the odds. Some people are going through terrible traumas (including, loss of loved ones - family and friends; displacement, homelessness), this Christmas, and one might say, "easier said than done". Keep "faith" that there is definitely "good" in this world, and that there are some very good people who will stand by those without or in distress, who will befriend and support those in need, (even if just loneliness) - this is probably the message of this poem and the lyrics of the two pieces of music I have included with the poem. Ah, poetry, the gift that keeps on giving. Much Love to you and yours at Christmas, Christina (and what a lovely first name you have, all sorts of meanings to it). Xo
