Christmas Love.

Christ the child has the right to hear his own name. Has it come to this point that we shudder in shame? Recall haughty Peter who did three times deny. Is this His day or not? And if not, pray tell why? Sneering hate and disdain conveyed in vague words. They smear His soft visage in foul urine and turds. Mankind turns rapacious, nary one second thought. As they pay attention to the trinkets they bought. Sacred shunted aside, forgotten, not sought. Let us confer upon Him one great gift we can give. Over all of the prayers we might say while we live. Very loudly, proclaim Him to all ends of this earth! Every creature kneels down. Bless the night of His birth.

Excellent verse explaining how we sometimes lose the true meaning of Christmas when we "pat attention to the trinkets." You use words well and have a strong vocabulary that allows you to really define your message clearly, Gerard. Love and admiration, Carolyn
