Christians Following Jesus

Trump held a Bible in his hand
(A book he does not understand)
He took an oath
Yet betrayed both
The people and his motherland

excellent poem. Did you see the story about the pastor who told his congregation that if they followed Trump they were being immoral and not Christian? They fired him for it.

Trump is his own worst enemy. Good one, Rico. Janice

Loopholes... The former president's hesitance to declare his candidacy involves — you guessed it — money and skirting the law. If he admits to it, he can't sell his hats, or except donations. He will run to clear his wrong doings! Good one Rico!

Nah, Trump is a coward, so he will support others taking the fire and then require their support in exonerating him! Aloha!

With Bible in hand the oath's meaning was lost... The other hand behind his back, his fingers were crossed !! ------------------------------------------- Your political limericks are genius Rico.

With your command of the language, I am sure you could do better! Aloha!

If I recall, he first held that Bible upside-down, Rico. That said it all! Excellent poem…

Can't believe that he's trying to worm his way back into the white house. Tom

News tonight reported Trump's idea of leadership is, "sloughing off so others can take the blame". Aloha!

You can say that again, Rico! Yep, he has, and unbelievably so, managed to worm his way right into the heart and hands of the Christian nationalists. How...well, it's anyone's guess, because he has lied to them and they have believed him, it appears.

Oh, it's insane, Rico. There are "Jesus - 2020" signs all over the place in my neck of the woods. I'm still trying to figure them out. Real Christians, IMHO, support Jesus and try to live by his teachings. Trump? I think not!

This was prompted by Stephan McBride's claim that Christians following Jesus support Trump. I can not even begin to imagine that reconciliation! Aloha!
