Choices We Make and Why We Make Them
Choices We Make
And Why We Make Them
Written: by Miracle Man

We put scant thought into choices we make,
At least to another it sometimes appears.
We fail to weigh all the elements at stake,
Or how they look when viewed by our peers;
Clamoring voices can influence our thought,
And we oft find ourselves yielding to please.
Sometimes we find it’s all been for naught,
And we’ve wasted energy trying to appease.
We’re quick to revel in our choices when made,
But oft rue the consequences that come later.
Because pros and cons had not been weighed,
We’re left wishing we’d been a procrastinator.
Beyond each choice lives a consequence- good or bad!
