Poetic Triplet
Tercets in which all three lines follow the same rhyme, a a a, b b b, etc.. with no syllable count required.
My son got a pup for his third birthday
and sure enough, they bonded straight away,
spending the day invested in child's play.
The pup's tail wags; and my son smiles with joy,
this present is better than any toy
for he loves his dog, and it loves my boy.
