Childhood Gems

Sunday home bonding festive midst fellowship bliss dining as one team over Dad and Mom’s menu from luncheon to supper time… Missing such moments we still huddle together though sometimes virtual… siblings bound by parents’ love thanking God* for childhood gems.
*Psalm 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. August 14, 2022 1st place, "Childhood Nostalgia" Tanka Poetry Writing Contest Sponsored by JCB Brul; judged on 8/31/2022.

This is indeed a gem Beata sparkling with the love of family - God's family gathering and rejoicing in faith for the jewel of family. Thank you for writing about such a beautiful example of family - truly a celebratory light on the hill. Blessings to you and your family dear Beata!

Gosh, Beata! I, too, miss those days. Mass was first, then home to great dining. Mom used her best dinnerware. Food was extraordinaire. Music of Cole Porter and more. Dressing up was fun, too. Days of fellowship. Thank you for your delightful write. Pamagiota xxx
