Chickadee - Edited

retweets of alarm - owls in the vicinity . . . chick-a-dee-dee-dee Jan. 18, 2021 for Tania Kitchin's A Cardinal, Blue Jay, Or Chickadee Haiku Poetry Contest (had to totally change this one. Soup does not allow the fun little word for chickadee which the whole haiku was originally based on)

This has intrigued me now. "what fun little cute word?" I have NO idea, so it had better be in Google somewhere or I will be thinking of nothing else all day long. Congratulations on a much deserved win, and thanks for the tease in your author's notes Andrea.

Great writing... I love haikus... they seem to fall from the wind like feathers floating through the air, drifting and drifting, until they finally land on the empty page. Love this Andrea and you. God bless you

Despite your lack of the fun word it is still a great little Haiku. Good luck in the contest...maybe someday you can write about a Titmouse. John
