Chess Anyone

You send out your pawns to test my strength I also send mine and we start the friendship at length Then you move your rook up and down or to the side I’m starting to be interested there’s nowhere for you to hide Next is your knight that moves in the shape of an L I’m falling for you and I’m under your spell You send a bishop to show some faith He moves in diagonal stealing my heart for you like a wraith You wonder which piece of you I will touch and take I study your board carefully it’s a tough decision to make You’re a Queen and I’m at your beck We get so close now I got you in check I’m the King of our castle this is fate I pull you in close for a kiss and that’s checkmate We knew the rules and played our emotional strategies to hatch This love battle has just begun but that’s game set match

Kevin, your verse is always so wonderful to read. Your story fascinates with the twist of playing chess and getting love in there. Love it my friend, a fantastic job!
