I enjoyed learing of the Cherokee trail when I studied history. I have it in my blood (though it goes way way back in history). Good one, James. Congrats.

The trail of tears..Sad that that had to happen..Thanks for reading my work about the buzzard flying high and alone. Those that are mostly around here have white tipped wings underneath. There is one called a Black Buzzard that we see sometimes and the other is the Turkey Buzzard or Vulture.Of course, the poem was a metaphor for something else.I saw the buzzard alone in flight and I had another instance on my heart and mind so it all came together..Everywhere a tear flowed a Cherokee Rose grows.SK

James, I love this. The atrocity of what happened in history so eloquently told. I love it, really do ;) Wilma
