Mark Elam Poet Rhyme

Cheese

Oh but it was such a glorious day
When the gods first took the curds from the whey!
Sprinkled some salt and a tincture of time
Aging the mix with a splash of enzyme
Giving to mortals what English call cheese
Pair it with wine and my palate agrees!
