Chaste and Chased: Dedicated To Our Friend Eileen Ghali

Coy sideways glances at the man of your dreams
Holding hands in secret so nobody sees
Amazed more girls don’t act the way you do
Sex before marriage – no you want to remain pure
Total commitment to one man in your life
Even when you’re dating you remain so demure

Always ready to see some bedroom action
Never turning sex down its like some fatal attraction
Devotedly he now pursues

Chase begins with eager anticipation
His heart pounding and heavy respiration
Ardour inflamed by her beauty
She’s sublime and sexy, such a cutie
Eureka is his final thought
Dames sure are naughty when they’re caught

The poem is not written about Eileen Ghali but simply dedicated to her. She has been inspirational in encouraging us to continue our collaborative writing after she read our poem 'Bronte Inspiration'.

It is not easy to write a good acrostic poem, and have it rhyme as well. You have done a great collective job here.

and yet another one from you two. Wow, you guys are on a roll!!! I was reading this thinking you meant it ABOUT Eileen. But I think she is already married and not dating, right? gosh, I hope I got that right. BTW, I love the Eureka line, naughty when caught!!!

Eileen, Darren and I had great banter about 'chaste' and 'chased' on the Bronte Inspiration poem and Eileen wrote us that incredible blog and also got us to get the 'JaDazzle' name for our poems. Am truly honoured to work with Darren - the lines just flow between us so naturally with very little alteration. Will add on the poem its for Eileen not about her! Hugs Jan xx

Thank you Thank you Thank you Eileen - Am sure Darren would echo these words. Watch out for more from 'JaDazzle' in the very near future. Am off to be inspired by you - I may agree to Darren having free rein to express his naughtiness in our collaborations (she says coyly and innocently) LOL hugs Jan x
