Chasing Places
If only life can carry me to places?
If only time can be altered?
If only dreams can be sleeping races
If only wishes can be catered?
Yet... We must earn, we must burn
We need yearn in order to learn
And we turn.. and we return
We are urban... perhaps only in terms
We are free, you and me
Did you see... what you gonna be?
It was he... No, it was she
Truth really, was no one in reality
Selling my soul, if devil shall enfold
My god-given role... I wasn’t told
Did you know, raging fire against bitter cold?
Is heaven hell, or perhaps hell is heaven’s stronghold
Can life carry me to places?
Can time be altered?
Are dreams imaginary races?
I have a wish... never catered....
