Charming Patterns

I can still remember that long move, I did not want to leave. I had no say, so I went and cried all the way. My mom knew I loved kittens, I found one in our new neighborhood. With the new kitten, my mom re-did my room. She wanted to try to make me happy, put a smile back on my little face. I came in from school, new curtains covering my windows. The cloth had cute kittens across the bottom, with some pink~blue in the pattern. The perfect kitten curtains, with the perfect "charming patterns." It was just for me, I was so happy. I relate to this write. My Mom was notorious for coloring our pets gone just because we were moving. We moved all the military-time (you, too?) My Tim and I had a cat herd for a couple of years 4 cats all told and not long ago, last year we lost two. I felt so many emotions reading but others might focus on another poem feature for there are many. I believe the contest sponsor will enjoy your write big time - if she's not cat allergic!
